Sassafras subtly replicats the unusual creamed honey colour and predominant black stipping of the indigenous Tamanian Tiger.
It would be quite believable to think that the black features running through the timber has been produced by an artists brush.In fact the stained feature occurs in the wild over hundreds of years whilst the tree is growing and the atrtist is mother nature herself..
The table top is made from 32mm slabs bookmatched and side laminated to provide a solid natural timber top.
Also available in a single sheet 3 mm Veneer sassafras over an engineered 5 ply face laminated top base.
The base is designed to uptake many years of dinner parties and day to day living whilst providing clean lined contemporary elegance found only within the boundaries of the highest quality marine grade stainless steel.
The stainless steel base is available with a three dimensional hand knurled patern that looks quite amazing and varies depending on light and your veiwing perspective,also available in plain high polish grade.
Timber bases are also available apon request with traditional hand crafted timber joints
and finish, legs are available in 89x89 mm or 115x115 mm 130x130 mm.
Also available apon request are side boards coffee tables and entertainment units to compliment your table which are designer made to your specifications.
