The Staircase Place offers Customers a fully constructed Stair case ready to fit from your supplied plan or specifications and we cater for all budgets and tastes. From the most elaborate Stair well to the more budget targeted product, yet all our staircases are fixed and joined in the same old fashion method there are no plastic joiners or cheap fixing methods on our product, and all stair cases are hand made.
Our products are of the highest quality in laminated, Treads Stringers and Posts mainly produced from select grade Tasmanian Oak. All our stock is air seasoned for 12 months then kiln dried to 10% to 12% mc. We use a high grade marine glue in the laminating process to ensure the product you receive is of the highest standard. For the customer that requires a little more our product also is available in Blackheart Sassafras, Feature Myrtle and Australian Red Gum. We are proud to be offering a true Tasmanian product and take pride in customer satisfaction and the manufacture of fine timber staircases
For those looking to keep within a budget, we also supply an inexpensive carpet grade staircases using MDF and Radiata Pine.

- Closed tread is the tread and riser ensconced within the stringer.
- Open tread is tread only without the riser, within the stringer.
